Dance training and movements are devised by Malti Patel the teacher of the finalist Heidi Mumford of Channel 4 ‘Bollywood Star’ series and Top Model and cover girl Tia Ward of Asiana Magazine.

The dance classes are open to all age groups. The aim of the dance is to train, educate and share Indian dance with people from all cultures, promote health, fitness and well-being and build confidence and self esteem. Specialising in Bollywood Dance Training
A unique style has been developed that has emphasis on elegance and interpreting the dance theme in a theatrical way. The teaching combines moves from Indian classical, Arabic, folk and Western styles to the latest Bollywood tracks. Opportunities are offered to take part in high profile stage shows, home productions and events.

Kathak Dance Training
A Northern Indian classical dance that has been influenced by Hindu and Muslim history. This is an age old dance that has grace, beauty and elegance. The dance has precise and strong footwork, with delicate hand gestures and mesmerising spins. The training provides a strong base for serious dancers who may wish to take a career in dance.

Folk Dance Workshops Offered
Bhangra
This popular style for dancing at weddings, clubs and parties has its roots in Pujab. The training will involve learning modern and traditional moves to popular modern Punjabi tunes. These workshops are a great way to keep fit, improve dance skills and are suitable for a mixed group.

Dandiya Rass
A stick dance from Gujarat danced by men and women, using circular movements and accentuated by rhythmic beatings of the sticks.

Garba
A very famous Gujerati dance, present at all auspicious occasions. The dancers move in circular movements clapping their hands and expressing their ecstacy with graceful movement.
